Floral & Tufted || Autumn Return to Pomp & Circumstance

Fall is in the air, and it's excitedly sending me back to all my favorite spots for some seasonal festivities!  Pomp & Circumstance is the coziest spot this time of year, and I was beyond excited to return for a little bit of a different mood than our last visit.  You previously saw summer brunch on Pomp's beautiful patio, and this time we're sharing their glamorous 2-story mid century interior.  My 1940's inspired outfit deemed an appropriate pairing amidst glamorous tufted velvet booths and walls lined with original vintage ads.

Now, for cuisine... I can't begin to describe how shockingly delicious!  Nothing is better in Autumn than fresh comfort food done with refinement & beauty, and this is exactly what we experienced.  It reminded me once again of Italy, and the meal we enjoyed in a friend's countryside home on Christmas day - each meat was slow-cooked over a wood burning oven.  Reminiscent of this perfect day, our meal at Pomp consisted of bone marrow starter, Swan Creek pot roast, and Slagel Farms crispy half chicken.

Our cocktails were equally exceptional, and I'm honored to share that during the month of October with every order of Pink Lady cocktail, Pomp will be donating $3 to the Bright Pink Foundation.  Bright Pink is an organization focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.  This decadent drink consists of plymyth gin, laird's applejack, simple syrup, lemon juice, egg white.  It's as delicious as it is pretty, and such an important cause.

Thanks to Pomp & Circumstance for sponsoring our visit!
